Frank D. Williams, President and CEO Man2Man Fatherhood Initiative, is a native of Akron, Ohio. He graduated from East High School and attended the University of Akron where he studied Secondary Education. Frank also served honorably in the United States Army Reserves.
Mr. Williams retired from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company as a skilled tradesman after 36-years of service. In 1999, he founded the Williams Challenge Foundation which funds scholarships for low income high school seniors.
A 2013 graduate of the Child and Family Leadership Exchange Program, Frank lives out his passion of service by volunteering for causes near and dear to him personally. His past volunteer service includes: 5 years with Akron Reads, 2 years with Akron Summit Community Action Agency (helping them to establish an initiative to equip men to become better fathers), and served 8 years as a Grief Recovery Facilitator.
Current community service includes: Prison Ministry with Cleveland Plain Dealer sports writer
Terry Pluto (17 years) and volunteer for the Akron First Tee Golf Program. Frank is a Fatherhood Initiative Instructor and spends much of his personal and professional time mentoring young men in a variety of capacities. He is a certified Master Trainer.
Frank is the proud father of 4 sons, 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. When he is not spending time with his family he lives out his passion of golf on the greens.
